The First Issue is very specialized by Types, paper Types, printings, watermark and other varieties (some items are incorrectly labelled). Later issues are specialized too but not as much as 1st issue. There are many better stamps in the collection, including some in very good quality. Generally the quality is usual for the classics - somewhat mixed. Some stamps have been 'improved' (washed, some even washed out). Also the fragments were soaked and the stamps refastened with hinges (including the 1858 blue newspaper stamp, otherwise perfectly cancelled and with wide margins). Precise inspection of the collection is recommended.
